Retail therapy

Instead of 3 intended 1-to-1 dinners, tonight ended up being a rather strange gathering of random people that know wai. Weird as the idea seemed at first, it ended up being an alright evening, so I might actually consider doing this more in future. Saves time, and makes things interesting. Heh. So the Juan-fish finally got to meet the Budak-duck and they both got to meet Wan, who was in the area and decided to drop in. The only element missing was Monkey, who was away in Sabah. Marche at Vivocity was way crowded but the food did not impress. Perhaps next time will check out some of the more expensive-looking specialty restaurants in the mall. Probably will get more value for money... The evening degenerated into an impromptu shopping expedition for me, who was in desperate need of new clothes, now that I have to dress in smart casual for work everyday. This was another first for me - being the one who's shopping and having someone else be the long-suffering draggee (person who gets dragged around). Also bought a new bag so I can wash the purple one that was beginning to look like it desperately needs a wash.
